Where does time go?! Jayva has turned one already! As always, this little girl brought a great deal of laughter our way during her session. As with any baby session, they are full of surprises. Thank you little Jayva for bringing lots of smiles and for allowing the adults a chance to blend in with you. We have some fun birthday cake shots we’ll share in the near future as well.
This past Monday night, I was honored to speak at the Minot Camera club and was asked to judge pictures from their monthly contest. This month’s theme was “bridges” and the images were outstanding – very difficult to narrow down to a top 3 in each category. This is a great group of amateur photographers who share their passion of photography with one another. For those of you who want to learn more information about this excellent club, check out their web site at www.minotcameraclub.com. They meet twice per month at the Minot Public Library.
Thank you Janell (who is a member of this club and invited me to attend) for taking a few pictures from the evening. Yikes…this is why I like taking the pictures!
The Hanson family showed up at our door armed and ready to make their family portrait session everything they wanted it to be. Kudos to the young gals for keeping track of the little boy! We enjoyed our relaxed time and captured the Hanson family portrait. Here’s a few from our session…
When mom and Garrett pulled up for his recent senior session…we had to do a double take! Why? It was this large bag strapped to the top of their SUV – a very long bag! We were surprised to find out that in the bag contained a bunch of pole vault equipment. Oh ya! Now, the challenge of getting 15 foot poles into our home basement studio….easy! Yes, we pulled it off and below you will see a few shots from the fun experiment. Ok..back to the session. It was a blast. Mom, you’re an inspiring photographer with lots of passion and ambition! Stay focused and keep that dream moving along. Garrett…you did an awesome job and it was more than fun working with you. You did great and made through the 3 hour session with leftover smiles. Here’s a few from the session….
Happy Valentine’s Day! We hope your day was peaceful. Our little bundle enjoyed her first Valentine’s Day at Grandma and Grandpa’s place in Crosby! And, amazingly, the bib didn’t catch any food….at least not yet!

A big thank you to Amy’s brother for taking the next set of shots for us. Jason (yes, a different Jason!)….you did great!
These two shots were from a couple of weeks ago, but we just didn’t get around to blogging them.
