month: August 2009

Bo: 2010 Velva Senior

Bo…the weather was perfect.  You relaxed and had some fun!  Thank you for bringing some ideas and for hanging out for a few hours.  The best to you this year with football and everything else.  Here’s a few shots from the session…

Michael and Gina: Wedding

Watford City…..a classy town for a classy wedding.  Yes, we headed west for our next celebration on August 8th and what a memorable one at that.  What made this wedding day so special was the non-stop joy we experience that day.  From the bride getting ready that morning all the way through the energy of the dance, we could see love – lot’s of it!

Gina was a beautiful and happy bride right from the start – getting ready!

The dress:

A pair of glowing shoes:

Fun with make-up!

Here we go….

The perfectly composed groomsmen and ring bearer during the ceremony:

The new Mr. and Mrs. King:

Mike and Gina chose not to see each other before the wedding.  So, she made sure enough time was allowed after the ceremony to take a trip down to the north unit of the Badlands for pictures.  What a great idea and fun time.  The rain stayed away for our pictures – the sun even popped out briefly.

The wedding party all rode together in this camper!

A few reception details:

The rings…..a wine glass turned up-side-down.  I have to admit, this was Amy’s idea.  The wine glasses were left at each table as a gift to the guests for coming to the reception.

Some first dance shots:

These two could dip!

What a moment….

Milos and Stephanie: Wedding

Milos and Stephanie celebrated a very special day this past August 7th….a day full of smiles, laughter and even a few tears.  We were blessed to be a part of it and delighted in the day as it unfolded.

Wedding: Zion Lutheran   Reception: Holiday Inn   DJ: Porta Party (Chris Benno)

We start with her shoes and dress:

Getting ready!

Multi-tasking with some texting…..

The wedding party was a blast.  Milos and Stephanie chose not to see each other before the wedding so we did shots of each of them separately before the ceremony….

A very beautiful bride as you will see in the next few shots….

A difficult, but special moment….

Then we met up with the guys and the atmosphere changed!

Milos getting his “first look” at the bride…

We snapped some shots after the ceremony of the wedding party and family….

The reception was amazing.  The decorations were beautiful.

First dance:

Doug and Sarah: Engagement

We’re not sure what’s more impressive…the way these two could naturally gel in front of the camera or how organized they were to shoot the session and book their wedding for next summer all in the same morning?  Doug and Sarah…you made the morning so relaxed and fun.  We look forward to the big day.  We love color in photographs, but sometimes other tones just pop out and tell a different story.  As with these, each image tells a unique story from that moment…at that very time.  Here’s a few stories…..

Chris and Becky: Looking Back (Video)

Another beautiful memory from June 27th…..

Josh and Rhanda: Engagement

Last week, we had the pleasure of photographing this awesome couple who’s special day will be next summer.  So….we have a long time to wait for the special day, but we got a glimpse of how much fun these two will be when it comes!  Josh and Rhanda…you were both amazing.  Here’s some shots from your shoot…

Brian and Julie: Looking Back (Video)

We like to take our blog readers back in time a bit with each wedding.  Today’s video: Brian and Julie.  They celebrated the start of a new life together on June 13th.  Here’s some highlights from your special day…

Jarod: 2010 Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood Senior

Jarod…you came on board and rocked!  You’re a guy of many talents and it was great working with you.  The best to you this upcoming year.  Here’s a few shots from our session:

Cameron: 2010 Minot High Senior

Cameron rocked his senior shoot even though we had to stretch it out twice due to bad weather the first round.  The wait paid off!  May your senior year be full of success!  Here’s some shots that caught our eye…

Rylan: One Year

This little guy really cracked us up as we were going through the final selections!  Everywhere we went and set him down….he smiled.  Steve and Crystal, it was a pleasure working with the two of you and your awesome boys.  Here’s a few to share…
