The Spirit of the Hostfest 2010!

We had the wonderful opportunity to be a contracted photographer for this year’s Hostfest.  The goal: capture people having fun!  We took “fun” and defined that as “EVERYONE!”  Seriously, throughout the three days spent photographing the event, people were filled with joy and the spirit of the Hostfest poured out in every direction.  The food, entertainment and fellowship of people made this years event as good as always.  So many pictures were taken and tons of emotions were frozen in time.  Here’s a glimpse through the eyes of Gemar Photography…..

Savannah and Steve: Engagement

FUN!!!…Savannah and Steve brought a whole new definition to the word and you’ll certainly see it in the images below. Once again, we’ve loved the fall colors and the bright clothing colors just brought it all together. Time with the two of you was great and we very much look forward to your big day next September!

The Doering Family

As always, our time with the Doering Family brought another adventure! This time…a road trip to Crow Flies High – located just West of New Town. Despite the gray skies and wind, we hiked down to an area that provided great protection and gave us the ability to capture this moment. Below are a few of our favorites…

Raiden 2 Years! and Daddy too…

There’s nothing more special than a father and son having fun! To be able to capture moments like these reminds us of just how blessed we are to be photographers. Thanks for providing real moments – the ones that reflect the true you. Below are a few of our favorites…

Diede Family

We had the great joy of photographing this beautiful couple back in July. Their wedding was beautiful and so was this shoot…full of smiles, laughter and love. We wish you nothing but the best and bright future together as a family. Below are a few from the shoot that made us smile…

Britni: 2011 Berthold High School Senior

Despite the bad weather and delays, we finally were able to get out and complete Britni’s shoot…and the wait was worth it! The colors and leaves stuck around just enough – some of which were waiting just for her. We enjoyed your session and wish you the best in your senior year and beyond.

Minot Convention and Visitors Bureau Staff

We had a good time (even in the wind) photographing the Minot Convention and Visitors Bureau staff.  This amazing staff does everything they can to promote all that this great city has to offer! Below are a few from our recent shoot.

Alannah: 2011 Minot High Senior

Great subject, great high-energy dog, added together made for one amazing shoot! Alannah, thanks for being adventurous as we hiked around to find the perfect locations. Below are some of our favorites.

Jacob: 2011 Minot High Senior

Jacob…your senior shoot was great – thanks in part to an outdoor location unique to you! Your calm and relaxed personality made for an enjoyable time capturing the real you. Have a great senior year and we wish you the best.
